Adhesion of samples and cards

What is this exactly?
  • Option to adhere cards, samples and brochures to the first page of a section in the first half of the magazine

  • Submit 2% extra in case of losses
  • With samples/inserts for adhesion: no later than at the time of submission, the advertiser will provide a PDF indicating the position for adhesion on the advertising page to Sara De Groote (Sara.De.Groote@persgroep.be). If we do not receive this information, we will adhere the sample or insert in a logical place according to our standards
 
Formats
  • min. Format cards & samples for adhesion 55 x 80 mm
  • max. format cards for adhesion 142 x 220 mm
  • max. format samples for adhesion 100 x 150 mm
  • always placed 40 mm from the back
  • always placed 25 mm from the top, bottom and side
 
Sample for adhesion
  • Maximum thickness: 2 mm
  • Maximum weight: 20 g
  • The samples for adhesion must be fitted with a seal gripping edge of 10 mm along the edges and be able to withstand pressure of circa 2,000 kg
  • The contents must be distributed evenly across the surface
  • The material must be resistant against heat and melting (melting temperature of 160°C)
 
Specifications for submission
  • Per magazine and per insertion date, the cards/samples for adhesion must be packed separately and mention the magazine and the insertion date
  • Cards for adhesion:
    • Individual packs of about 10-12 cm high
    • Unfolded (all backs in the same direction)
    • 1 pack per layer
    • Layers separated by cardboard
    • On pallet or in box pallet.
    • Each pallet must clearly mention:
      Name of the magazine - Name of the advertiser - Insertion date
  • Samples for adhesion:
    • packed in boxes with equal amounts
    • If there is more than one row of samples per box, the box should be fitted with sturdy dividers that are higher than the samples.
    • Samples must be submitted in one-directional upright position in boxes of +/- 500 copies.
    • Samples must always be placed in the same direction.  
      They should NEVER be packed in a cross-wise, horizontal or alternating manner.
      Do not tie an elastic band or strap around the packs.
