VTM is celebrating! The broadcaster turns 30 on 1 February 2019, but it's more youthful than ever. To celebrate this milestone birthday, '30 jaar VTM' will run on 1 February 2019: a non-stop chain of surprising VTM moments, with programmes and faces from then and now.
VTM NIEUWS is also celebrating its 30th year in the business and gives a unique glimpse behind the scenes with anchors of the past in '30 jaar VTM NIEUWS'.
Another part of the 30 year celebrations at VTM is 'Studio Tarara', the first drama series by Tim Van Aelst of Shelter, which takes us back to the early years of VTM. Bases on viewer requests, the iconic programme 'Blind Date' will get a makeover and will be hosted by Nathalie Meskens.
New at VTM this spring: Lynn Van Royen is 'De Luizenmoeder', Olga Leyers and Sieg De Doncker are globetrotting with octogenarians in 'De Wereld Rond met 80-jarigen', Staf Coppens puts children in surprising situations in 'Dat Belooft Voor Later' and famous Flemish people hit the road with their mothers in 'Weg Met Ons Ma'.
Medical interventions are covered in the scripted reality series 'Echte Verhalen: SOS 112' and the heroes of the largest fire-fighting zone in the country are placed in the spotlight in 'Helden van Hier: Brandweer Zone Antwerpen'. VTM NIEUWS will present the series 'Wetsdokters'.
The stalwarts at VTM also return this spring: New singing talent is unearthed in 'The Voice van Vlaanderen', five couples get married without ever having met in 'Blind Getrouwd' and seven artists tackle each other's repertoire in 'Liefde voor Muziek'.
There are also new seasons of 'The Team', 'Alloo Bij', 'Kan Iedereen Nog Volgen?', 'Alloo in de Nach' and the first episode of 'Boer zkt Vrouw - De Wereld Rond'.
